I find that if you wait until a day or two before Valentine’s Day, local stores like these are worth visiting:

- Hobby Lobby
- Michaels
They usually put all their Valentine items on sale for 50% off!
You can find great gifts and trinkets at these places for very little money.
Keep in mind, just because items are cheap does not mean they cannot be high quality.

All Free Crafts has gift ideas for people of all ages. I especially like, the Chocolate Rose Kisses, the Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, and the Tin Hearts gifts.
Think Outside The Box
Valentine’s Day does not always have to be so serious.
Here are 10 fun & unique ways to say I love you. Some of these ideas are quite inexpensive — from the old faithful coupon book to making chocolate together to making a scrapbook page.

Create a website. You can use Google Sites or any other free website and add cute Valentine’s Day clip art, a poem and some photos. Then, email it to them. This is a great gift if you have a long-distance relationship, and its free too.
Bake a cake. If you are not good at baking, you can purchase instant cheesecake mix. Top your cake with heart-shaped candies.
Purchase Valentine’s Day underwear (recommended for mature relationships only). Target stores and other department stores always have undies with hearts all over them. This always makes for a fun surprise.
