Following are some inexpensive ways to give your sweetheart a Valentine’s Day gift that they will certainly appreciate.
Find The Best Prices
It helps if you know where to shop.
I find that if you wait until a day or two before Valentine’s Day, local stores like these are worth visiting:
- Rite Aid
- Hobby Lobby
They usually put all their Valentine items on sale for 50% off!
You can find great gifts and trinkets at these places for very little money.
Keep in mind, just because items are cheap does not mean they cannot be high quality.
Here are some frugal Valentine’s Day gift ideas that will touch your loved one’s heart. I especially like the personalized candy bar idea and the hobby helpers.
Make Your Own Gift
There are hundreds of websites online that you can use to make wonderful gifts.
Think Outside The Box
Valentine’s Day does not always have to be so serious.
Here are 10 fun & unique ways to say I love you. Some of these ideas are quite inexpensive — from the old faithful coupon book to making chocolate together to making a scrapbook page.
Finally, if none of the aboveideas works for you, then take a look at my own personal tried and true gift idea list. These are my favorite Valentine’s Day gift ideas that are either free or very inexpensive:
Create a website. You can use Google Sites or any other free website and add cute Valentine’s Day clip art, a poem and some photos. Then, email it to them. This is a great gift if you have a long-distance relationship, and its free too.
Purchase Valentine’s Day underwear (recommended for mature relationships only). Target stores and other department stores always have undies with hearts all over them. This always makes for a fun surprise.
Give a massage or foot rub. Purchase scented oils and give your sweetie the best foot massage or back massage they’ve ever had. (Read: How To Give Your Loved One A Foot Rub.)
