Many restaurants typically offer the birthday person a free meal when an accompanying guest purchases their own meal. Heck, a 50% discount can make eating out at an upscale restaurant quite affordable these days! Watch for local fliers in the mail, or call around and inquire.
Some places offer a FREE dessert to top off your meal. Applebee’s gives you a free dessert on your birthday. I can tell you from personal experience that their desserts are enough for a meal, and they’re downright delicious! Their food is great too, so just remember to leave room after your meal to try their scrumptious desserts.
Of course, there are a lot of non-food things you can get for free on your birthday too. For example, Walt Disney World is offering FREE admission to a Disney theme park on your birthday. That could certainly make your Disney vacation a bit more affordable.
